WELCOME TO CALCULUS HERO

Hello! My name is Allison and I have been an AP Calculus Teacher for 13 years. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Go Steelers!), but I moved to Charleston, South Carolina to teach after I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics. I am National Board Certified in Mathematics and I have my Master's Degree in Math Education. I absolutely love helping and encouraging students understand difficult math concepts.  

Being an AP Calculus Reader and grading the AP Calculus exams each year, I have great insight into the exam and how the questions are graded. I have taught and worked with hundreds of students not only in high school but also in college to obtain credit no matter their background. I can help you too! Recognized as a Teacher of the Year, I identify the potential in each one of my students and encourage them to push forward and not give up when Calculus gets hard.
